Singular Like a
Bird: Singular Like a Bird comprises a collection of eighteen essays by scholars who examine the work of Afro- Cuban writer, Nancy Morejon. Also included are a comprehensive bibliography, an interview with the poet, and a collection of her art. CONTRIBUTORS:
Miriam DeCosta-Willis, professor of Africana Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, is the editor of Blacks in Hispanic Literature, The Memphis Diary of Ida B. Wells, and the forthcoming Daughters of the Diaspora: Afra-Hispanic Writers.
